Belarus plays an important role for European security. That Russia uses Belarusian territory and infrastructure for its full-scale war on Ukraine is just another indicator for this. We believe that the discourse on how to make Belarus a guarantor for peace rather than a danger for Europe has to continue and that it is necessary to design a future Belarusian foreign policy that keeps this in mind and puts it in the center of its ambitions. We are aware though that this will not be an easy process.
