Ostrozky Forum Strengthens Dialogue Between Representatives of Democratic Belarus and the Ukrainian Society

On November 14–15, 2025, Kyiv hosted the 4th Ostrozky Forum, a major platform for dialogue between Ukrainian and Belarusian experts, diplomats, civil society leaders, and policymakers. The event focused on the current state and future of bilateral relations in the context of regional security and democratic transformation.

The Forum opened with welcoming remarks from organizers and moved into several expert panels.

Key discussions addressed:

  • Post-war prospects for Ukraine and Belarus, featuring insights from Ukrainian officials and representatives of the Belarusian democratic forces.
  • Regional security challenges, including cyber threats, intelligence operations, and the role of the Belarusian regime in undermining stability.
  • The strategic role of international actors, with a focus on American and European security perspectives.
  • Youth in politics, with participation from Ukrainian and Belarusian youth organizations.

The second day explored:

  • Belarusian engagement in Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts.
  • The dynamics of Belarus–China relations, based on new analytical findings.
  • The legal and social status of Belarusian volunteers in Ukraine’s defense forces.

The Forum reaffirmed the growing cooperation between pro-democracy communities of both nations and underscored the shared commitment to a secure and democratic region.
