Pashpart.org – FES supports informational resource for Belarusians abroad

On September 7, a decree came into effect, stating that consulates and embassies would no longer issue passports or process certain other documents for Belarusians abroad. To obtain, exchange, or renew the validity of passports, Belarusians will have to travel to Belarus.

In order to address this issue, a new informational resource has been created to assist Belarusians affected by the official refusal to exchange and/or issue passports abroad.

The People's Embassies of Belarus in collaboration with Svetlana Tikhanovskaya's office and the United Transitional Cabinet and with the support of Friedrich Ebert Foundatio, have launched the website pashpart.org.

This platform provides detailed instructions on the process of obtaining a foreigner's travel document, along with links to the laws of 29 countries where this option is available.
