Ostrogski Forum 2024: Strengthening Democratic Solidarity between Ukraine and Belarus

The Ostrogski Forum 2024 was held in Kyiv from November 16 to 17, 2024.

Over the course of two days, the forum featured eight panel discussions, bringing together politicians, activists and experts from Ukraine and Belarus.

Key topics included Ukraine's strategy towards Belarus, cooperation and solidarity between official Ukraine and Belarusian Democratic Forces, the Belarusian regime's involvement in the deportation of Ukrainian children, combating propaganda, the legal situation of Belarusians living in Ukraine and others.

The speakers underscored the importance of fostering collaboration between Belarusian and Ukrainian democratic forces in the face of shared challenges. The discussions highlighted the potential for joint initiatives in various areas.

The forum was organized by the Free Belarus Center, the European Dialogue Center, the Political Sphere Institute and the  Foreign Policy Council Ukrainian Prism, with support from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
