Empowering Belarusian Women: The Women's Question Project

The Women's Question project is an empowering initiative supported by FES designed to support Belarusian women navigating significant life transitions and who are living abroad now.

The situation in Belarus, as well as the broader global context, has a significant impact on women. Many women, who are now living abroad face problems related to immigration, such as constant stress, family crises, finding a job in a new country, managing budgets, and dealing with complex legal issues.

Through expert-led lectures and a supportive online community, this project addressed these pressing issues and has provided invaluable resources and a sense of solidarity to participants.

A total of five online lectures were delivered by experts in relevant fields, equipping the trainees with crucial knowledge and skills:

  • Networking and reputation building in emigration (April 10, 2024);
  • Financial literacy and home budget (April 16, 2024);
  • Social media as a tool for personal/project promotion" (April 24, 2024);
  • Women's health as a factor in a prosperous life (May 12, 2024);
  • Career development in emigration (May 16, 2024)

These lectures covered a range of topics pertinent to the needs of Belarusian women living abroad, fostering their personal growth and resilience.
