Call for Applications Open: Academy of New Belarusian Diplomacy – 2026 Edition

Applications are now open for the Academy of New Belarusian Diplomacy — an educational and analytical programme aimed at preparing a new generation of Belarusian professionals in foreign policy, international relations, and diplomacy.

The programme offers a unique platform for young leaders, researchers, civil society representatives, and members of the Belarusian diaspora who are eager to develop their professional competencies and contribute to shaping the future of Belarus.

The Academy is organized by the Political Science Campus with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

Programme Objectives

Participants of the Academy will have the opportunity to:

• deepen their understanding of global and regional political processes
• develop diplomatic and policy analysis skills
• acquire practical tools for research and analysis
• contribute to shaping a democratic and forward-looking foreign policy of Belarus

Regional Security Edition

The programme focuses on regional security and the role of Belarus in today’s geopolitical landscape:

• between East and West
• between war and security
• between influence and dependency

Where does Belarus truly stand in the regional security architecture today?

Participants will explore these questions together with leading experts, combining theoretical learning with hands-on analytical research.

Learning Format

• online lectures by leading international and regional experts
• practical work on real analytical research projects
• development of skills applied in professional diplomacy and policy analysis

Who Can Apply

You are an ideal candidate if you:

• are between 18 and 30 years old
• are interested in Belarus’s foreign policy
• already work or plan to work in the field of international relations
• have an English proficiency level of at least B2
