Call for Applications: Academy of New Belarusian Diplomacy – 2025 Edition

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Academy of New Belarusian Diplomacy — an educational and analytical initiative dedicated to preparing a new generation of Belarusian professionals in foreign policy, international relations, and diplomacy.

This program provides a unique platform for young leaders, researchers, civil society activists, and members of the Belarusian diaspora to:

• Deepen their understanding of global affairs
• Strengthen their diplomatic and policy-making skills
• Contribute to shaping a democratic and forward-looking foreign policy for Belarus

What’s in the 2025 Program?

• 15 online sessions
• Essay writing component
• Offline weekend in Warsaw – packed with workshops, networking, and real-world experience

Special Focus 2025: Cultural Diplomacy
This year, we’ll explore:

• What myths about Belarus exist in the minds of foreigners?
• How can we break those myths?
• And how can we use culture, history, and art to tell the real story of Belarus?

Who Should Apply?
You’re in the right place if you are:

• A young leader aged 18–35
• Passionate about Belarusian foreign policy
• Already working on — or planning to engage in — promoting Belarus internationally

What Will You Gain?

• A global perspective on foreign policy and cultural diplomacy
• The ability to identify trends and evaluate their impact on Belarus’s image
• Practical skills for international cultural promotion

Why Now?
As Belarusian civil society faces growing restrictions and fewer opportunities to influence international stakeholders, cultural diplomacy is becoming a vital tool for shaping Belarus’s global narrative.

This course responds to that need — helping young Belarusian leaders develop a strong understanding of diplomacy while exploring new, creative pathways to make Belarus’s voice heard abroad.
