Announcement of the Public and Political Programme of the 5th Ostro gski Forum 2026 (18–19 September, Kyiv)

The Ostrogski Forum is a Belarusian-Ukrainian platform for dialogue among politicians, media representatives, civil society actors, experts, and researchers. Its aim is to discuss the current state of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations, common challenges, and opportunities for cooperation.

The public and political programme of the Forum will take place on 18–19 September in Kyiv.

The Forum programme will include discussions on the current state and prospects of Belarusian-Ukrainian political dialogue, how the war is transforming regional security, and what a future partnership between democratic Belarus and Ukraine could look like. Participants will also discuss the situation of Belarusians in Ukraine, including their rights, participation in Ukrainian society, and responsibilities towards the country during the war.

Special attention will be given to national identity, culture as a tool for countering the “Russian World”, the voice of anti-war Belarus in Ukraine, and the role of Belarusian volunteers in the future regional security system.

The Forum will also present the results of new research on Belarusian-Ukrainian relations.
